Pre-competition Training for “BOC STEM Talent Challenge”

This year’s “BOC STEM Talent Challenge” centers around the theme of BeiDou Navigation Satellite System. Participating students are tasked with integrating the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System while also considering its applications for Macao’s Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). To accomplish this, students are expected to conduct thorough research into the key development areas and requirements of local SMEs. They are encouraged to channel their creativity and present innovative smart technology solutions. To provide essential support for achieving these objectives, the organization is going to arrange six pre-competition training workshops scheduled from October to November 2023. These workshops are open to all students and teachers from across Macao who are interested to apply for the “BOC STEM Talent Challenge”.

The workshops will offer an insightful introduction to the national BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, which encompasses three vital segments: the space segment, ground segment, and user segment. Students will be able to gain hands-on experience with the system’s performance using experimental kits and explore its applications across various industries in Macao.

Each group is limited to a maximum of five participants, which includes teachers. You may choose your preferred time slots from the following options (select up to three sessions). It will be first-come, first-served basis depends on actual registrations and will notify participants via email about one week before the workshop begins.
